Can you imagine if this had happened during the Bush administration?

They would be blaming him oh wait they still are. :-)

As of right now:
Poll question: Nidal Malik Hasan is a terrorist Updated at 9:27 PM
True or False.
Poll result (79 votes)
True (30 votes, 38%) Vote
Too Early to know, Leaning True (3 votes, 4%) Vote
False (15 votes, 19%) Vote
Too Early to know, Leaning False (31 votes, 39%) Vote
I am actually surprised 38% are calling him a terrorist.

Terrorist is now the same as racist...only what they choose to define it to be.

I wonder if those thirty voters are going to be banned for violating DU Group Think(TM) policies?

If you listen to the way this administration continues to blame Bush for everything that's going wrong...is still is the Bush Administration.

I went over to Skins's island to take a look-see.
As I had predicted beforehand, Doug's stupid ex-wife was there.

19. Tiller's murderer stalked not only his victim but abortion clinics.
This guy came unglued at work.
How are they the same behavior?

37. No, I don't mean he didn't plan it.
But Tiller's killer really did stalk him and he had an avocation harassing abortion clinics.
This guy just seems to have gone quietly psychotic -- although, I also question that. Where were the people in his working group or his supervisors while he was losing it? I've lived with a person who has psychotic episodes. They are predictable.

18. Do we have any evidence whatsoever that he meant to inspire terror by his action?

39. Well, that's what he did. Is there any evidence that by doing that he meant to instill fear?
It's not the same thing at all.
I'm sure people did feel fear and most likely still feel fear. (And for the people on that base, my heart goes out to them. They will be living with this for a long, long time and they will need all the support we can muster.)
But that's different than someone planning a terrorist activity with the purpose of making people afraid.

If you have to ask...

If someone in Doug's ex-wife's household was psychotic, they probably caught it from her.

better not question their
patriotism loyalty to the ONE

I came to the realization today that the reason they defend Hasan is because they see him as one of "them". That is the only explanation I can think of.
-
Anyone who does not see him as such needs to remove their heads out of their asses and learn the truth quick.
-
Why do they have to ask. :mental: Nidal Hassan is a terrorist. Case closed. Next question!

Well, Hasan was on The Øne's transition team, which makes him just one more domestic terrorist to help Barry get where he is today.
****er. :banghead:

Yeah, I can see that. He killed U.S. soldiers and they all fantasize about that.

22. Perhaps the OP could define terrorism for purposes of this poll.
Would you like to bet that this a**hole still tries to ask people what the definition of sex is, about all the clintoon stuff? :whatever:

I'm worried, because I find myself agreeing with Doug's supremely stupid ex-wife, who's holed up in a '64 Airstream out in the middle of the California desert. The two incidents are entirely different. The guy who shot Killer Tiller committed cold-blooded murder, but the net result was a service to humanity. The raghead major at Fort Hood murdered honorable people. They are entirely different.

Count me on that.

Lets see. The killer at Ft Hood has extremist views, has no trouble spouting off about them, post on line about how he thinks suicide bombers are hero's then proceeds to kill almost 30+ people in a rampage. Sounds like a terrorist to me
-
F'n idiots. Two murderers, one screaming "I hate fags!" as he's killing a gay guy, the other just kills a straight guy while screaming, "Die mofugga, die!".
Are they the same? Murderers, yes, but clearly one has an issue with gay people.
-
BTW, since I need to clarify this shit these days for idiots that read too much into shit, that doesn't mean I support hate crime legislation. BOTH should be killed. Dead. Same punishment. However, you ALWAYS need to establish motive. In this case, he's a Damn Muzzie terrorist, in uniform, who hated all non-Muslims.
**** him.

Poll question: Tiller's Death...Murder or Assassination
Edited on Mon Jun-01-09 06:29 PM by BlueCollar
Just trying to understand how we all think. Personally, I believe that Tiller's death was the result of an assassination which has a stronger connotation than murder.
edited for spelling
Poll result (144 votes)
Murder (15 votes, 10%)
Assassination (129 votes, 90%)
When one reads the thread, the primitives define assassination as an act of Domestic Terrorism.
So,
man who commits a targeted murder based on religious and moral beliefs - terrorist
man who commits several murders based on religious and moral beliefs - not a terrorist
The only difference is the basis of those beliefs. One is a belief system they hate, the other is Islam.

Hasan was attempting to contact Al Qeada and the government knew it, apparently months ago when he was posting pro-suicide bomber comments online
