Sen. Joe Lieberman calls Fort Hood massacre a 'terrorist' act
Source: NY Daily News
Sen. Joe Lieberman called the Fort Hood massacre an act of "Islamist extremism" - even as top Army brass warned Sunday against guessing at a motive, fearing backlash against Muslim soldiers.
"There are very, very strong warning signs here that Dr. Hasan had become an Islamist extremist and, therefore, that this was a terrorist act," Lieberman (I-Conn) told Fox News on Sunday.
"If the reports that we're receiving of various statements he made, acts he took are valid, he had turned to Islamist extremism."
Lieberman's comments were in stark contrast to U.S. Army chief of staff George Casey, who told CNN he's deeply worried "that the speculation could cause something that we don't want to see happen."

Sen. Lieberman is doing his best to start a religious war it appears.

This is, of course, deeply disturbing to the DUmmies as they believe it is "the guns themselves" that transformed him into a murderer.

It is an act of terrorism you idiots. :banghead:

could just tell by his slow pauses that he was getting ready to lay a whopper on the Dems. I just knew he was going to spin. Wish he would spin til' his head actually flies off. UGGGGGGG! What a smarmy slime-bag.
And chalk one up for "DUmmy fantasizing about him enduring a gruesome death".
Come on DUmmies! This thread has potential! Let him have it!

Good for Sen. Lieberman. But he will probably be in trouble with Obama, who warned us "not to jump to any conclusions". :hyper:

Yet Obama jumped to conclusion with the arrest of Henry Louis Gates Jr. Hypocritical isn't it.

1. LIEberman is such a P.O.S. I hope his karma catches up with him soon.
This should be construed as an avocation of "karma" ushering in his death.
(Voting "yea" on H.J. Resolution 114 = paramount to murder in DUmmyland)

2. His Karma aint going to catch him...it will have to be the American people.....
And a direct reply demanding expediency through communal action of citizens.

There are many things I disagree with Lieberman, but I agree with him on terrorism.
-
He also is against the current health care bill in the House.....has said he will help the Republicans fillibuster it if necessary.
-
Lieberman is more of a conservative than some of the RINOs that infest the republican party.

Not when you sympathize more with the thug that did it more than you do your dead countrymen and women.

That's true they are worried about the political ramifications while we care that innocent people were killed. I haven't seen the breakdown of the numbers I would guess though some of them were civilians who got wounded.

Got some infighting here.

33. Sorry....
... but Joe has always put the interests of Israel ahead of those of the United States. Examine his every word and deed... he is 100% consistent in this. I personally believe he should be tried for sedition, but the guy is just too connected. No one can have authentic loyalty to more than one country; we all have to choose. Joe chose long ago.

35. Examples and links.
Prove your claims.
If you're going with the dual-loyalty smear against a Jewish-American then you better be prepared to back it up.

I've seen a couple of the pictures in the collage that was on the FNC website and they were either DA Civilians...retirees or both.

I'm sure glad that General Casey is defending the murderous savages that are killing our soldiers. What a great Army Chief of Staff we have. A real patriot.
