Yep. Liberals pooh-poohed the idea that losing NJ and Virginia meant anything, oh, but when it comes to conservatives losing NY-23, well, they just can't crow about it enough:

Olbermann was also crowing about the GOP losing the NY-23 seat after 150 years or some such nonsense and how that reflects on Republicans.
Yep. The 2009 elections were meaningless when it came to GOP wins, but so very, very meaningful when it came to a single GOP loss.
