Obama's Frightening Insensitivity Following Shooting
A bad week for Democrats compounded by an awful moment for Barack Obama.

President Obama didn't wait long after Tuesday's devastating elections to give critics another reason to question his leadership, but this time the subject matter was more grim than a pair of governorships.
After news broke out of the shooting at the Fort Hood Army post in Texas, the nation watched in horror as the toll of dead and injured climbed. The White House was notified immediately and by late afternoon, word went out that the president would speak about the incident prior to a previously scheduled appearance. At about 5 p.m., cable stations went to the president. The situation called for not only his trademark eloquence, but also grace and perspective.
But instead of a somber chief executive offering reassuring words and expressions of sympathy and compassion, viewers saw a wildly disconnected and inappropriately light president making introductory remarks. At the event, a Tribal Nations Conference hosted by the Department of Interior's Bureau of Indian affairs, the president thanked various staffers and offered a "shout-out" to "Dr. Joe Medicine Crow -- that Congressional Medal of Honor winner." Three minutes in, the president spoke about the shooting, in measured and appropriate terms. Who is advising him?

This is just plain sick. :puke:

Good...I'm glad to see that it's being noted!!! :censored:
I saw the news conference from the beginning yesterday, and in subsequent showings of it...the first 3 minutes were left out....which means all the people who saw it on later reports...would think how sympathetically eloquent he was.
What a sorry excuse for a human being....

I, too, saw the initial telecast of his address. I was befuddled as to why all of the shout outs and gratuities. Those could have waited until AFTER his announcement. Also, "Dr. Joe Medicine Crow -- that Congressional Medal of Honor winner" apparently never received the CMOH according to some blogs/ articles I've read. Another 0bama screw up?? Of course because the name is not here: http://www.cmohs.org/recipient-archive.php?p=26..

Bingo Thor. Mr. Crow never got the CMH. I was wondering when someone else would catch that. He served with Honor, but no CMH was awarded to him. Another Obama lie? Or does ZERO not know the difference between the CMH and Presidential Medal of Freedom, which Crow did receive.
I wonder if anyone in the media cought that afterwards too. http://www.worldwisdom.com/public/authors/Joe-Medicine-Crow.aspx

You'd think Obama would know which medal it was since he was the one that presented it to him. :whatever:

Maybe DingleBarry's teleprompter was having a bad day.

How soon before Lord Zero invites the murdering SOB and the female cop that shot him to the White House for a "beer summit"? :fuelfire:

Somebody in the WH must be getting nervous if barack is losing not only NBC affiliates but Chicago NBC affiliates.

Again, there are those who are already calling it Barruh's "My Pet Goat" moment. Nah, we knew you were an asshole long before Thursday, Zero.
