Top 5 Uncle Toms that appear on Faux News
Black folks can be quite conservative in some matters. It shows how racist the repugnantcan
party is that there are no, none, nunca black folks elected in a statewide office. Despite this
faux news can always go to their stable of self hating handkerchief heads. Where is that Christie
guy? He is despicable, guess he is not listed because he's always on Ed's show.

6. But as a black woman, the term fits, and it fits VERY, VERY well.

18. I was just going to type "yes indeed"
Dammit! You beat me to it (by a few hours)
Another black woman here... and I despise them. All of them. Christie and Elder literally make me nauseous.
Don't forget Amy Holmes - too intelligent to believe the bullshit she spouts - and that lunatic Alan Keyes. And that jackass Michael Steele. I know the last two aren't pundits, but former elected officials - all the more repulsive.
Ugh.

9. I totally get what you're saying and it's a point well taken. But I think the way the term
is being applied reflect a more modern characterization of how many black conservatives are paraded in front of the cameras to give the Republicans cover for their racist rhetoric and hostility to people of color. These black conservatives are typically the first to defend the actions of Republicans and to quickly and affirmatively denounce any charge of racism, subtle or overt. It's astonishing to me and highly offensive. And I believe they do it to gain notoriety for themselves, for that is the Republican way. It's all about self aggrandizement and promotion of the individual over the well being of the collective. While I don't think that all blacks should think and behave the same way--we are not a monolith--and those who are proactive in vilifying the black community and/or rejecting valid claims of racism even though their skin looks like mine, are Uncle Toms (the modern version).
Guess Jesse Jackson is an Uncle Tom then.
Who are the racists?

Please document this, idiot. You sound more racist and hostile to conservatives who happen to be people of color here than any real Republican I know about. Who are you to tell anybody what they should believe based on the color of their skin. That is infantile, retarded, ignorant and dare I say, it strikes me as very close to racist if it is not in fact.
People of color are conservative for the same reason as people of non-color: It is because they can think an issue through and not just have a knee-jerk, emotional reaction based on something as superficial as skin color.
We will never have a colorblind society as long as liberalism holds any sway because liberalism, an obvious mental illness, judge everything by superficial appearances. In other words, people like you, Liberal_Stalwart71, are the problem.

Texas has Michael Williams who is a statewide elected official and black.
try again DUmmie
-
Micheal Steele was the Lt. Governor of Maryland as a Republican. He's as conservative as a statewide elected offical can be in Fairyland.
The only reason he wasn't elected as US Senator is, wait for it, racism of the black voters in Maryland who decided he was an Uncle Tom. After The One was elected, I threw a lot of their racism in some of their faces. A few of them actually seemed to think about it.

But when you call black conservatives "Uncle Tom's," that's exactly what you're doing.
Grow a brain, moran.

They consider him and GOP Chairman Steele to be sellouts.
See in the Liberal mindset...they believe Blacks...Mexican's etc can ONLY belong to the Democrat party.

That is exactly what the left thinks, deny it all they want.

I think they would actually lynch some of these "Uncle Toms" given the chance.

Agreed.

There is no doubt which side of the political spectrum demands complete obedience to a belief system or be shunned/destroyed by society.
Sounds very similar to Germany in the 30s.

or throw them to the lions, also.

This subject absolutely enrages me. It's one of my top hated characteristics of the left. How dare they tell anyone how to think, based on one's skin color! It is racism, straight-up.
I happen to believe that Thomas Sowell is one of the most brilliant men on this planet today. Anything I've ever read from him, he's right on the money. To think that these witless wonders would insult him with despicable name-calling, burns me to the core.
Lurking DUmmies, why don't you register here and defend this? Go ahead.
-
"Uncle Tom"= "House N****r". "Get back on the Democrat plantation, BOY!" (what they want to say, but won't)
-
My favorite on Fox is Charles Payne. He takes fairly complex economics and breaks them down into beautiful simplicity.
-
promotion of the individual over the well being of the (racial) collective
No SHIT Sherlock!!!!!!111111
What the hell did you think it was????????????
Lord, these people need to be doing brain surgery or nuclear electronics, they're so ****in' smart!
