The following is a true story, as related to me by Mrs. E last night.
Little Johnny was looking at a children's book, then looked up, pointed at the open page and bellowed, "Hey, look! It's a frickin' elephant!!!"
Whereupon Little Johnny's teacher said, "Johnny, what was that you said?"
Johnny replied, while still pointing, "it's a frickin' elephant! It says so right here!"
Teacher said, "Johnny, that is not a nice word. You shouldn't be saying that word at all."
Johnny insisted, "I'm tellin' you teach! It says a frickin' elephant right here!"
Teacher looked at the page and sure enough: African elephant.
