For Pro-Choicers: Please explain to DU why abortion rights are important.

1, Illegal "back alley" abortions result in death

2. A rape victim should not have to deal with a pregnancy on top of the terror of being raped.

Well, it seems to me legal charnel house abortions result in death, too.

At least one death in every single instance, but never mind.

These are primitives, after all.
