Pubs and the media using the term "Democrat Party" burns my shorts
It is SO childish and obnoxious. But, it is also mean-spirited and divisive. It would be like having a friend named Charles, who asked you to call him "Chuck", but you keep calling him "Charlie" just to piss him off.
If we could ever get Democrats to do something in lock-step, they should begin referring to the Republican Party with a term that irritates the Republicans...AND REFUSE TO STOP, UNTIL THEY STOP THIS SHITTY 'DEMOCRAT PARTY' CRAP.
Here's some names I came up with:
The Pukelican Party
The Limbaughlicans
The Becklicans
The Kooklicans
The Pubics
The RePuke Party
The Pubes
The Rubes

2. Hey shipmate
how ya been?
I just call them Republicans. That means mean spirited and divisive to me.
The "Democrat Party" thing is as you say childish and a classic display of conservative ignorance.

3. It would stop rather quickly, I think
If, every time it happens, the Democrat on the panel interrupted and said, "Excuse me; 'democrat' is a noun. 'Democratic' is the adjective you searched for and failed to find. Please learn to use the English language properly." After a short time, merely interrupting with "Please learn to use the English language properly" would be sufficient.

I wasn't aware of one.

8. 'Democrat Party'
Is used as a pejorative term. It hearkens back to the days of McCarthy.

10. Even if you just have the tv on as backround noise, when I hear Democrat party makes me want to throw something. The publics all seem to have adopted this strategy just to irritate us.Just goes to show how they are controlled by thier base. The adults have been thrown out of thier party.

I don't get why they are so upset over it. I'd let it roll of my back if I were them but that is probably why I'm not them.
-
Once again DUmmy, type this into your browser and see where it takes you.

Whatever makes them upset makes me smile, so I always try to use the term "Democrat Party".
-
Haha.. if it didn't bother them so much, I probably wouldn't say it. It takes effort to remember to say Democrat party instead of democratic. But if they will continue to twist their panties, I am willing to put in the effort.
-
Hells, yeah.
Man, they get angry so easily. Must be a joy to live with.

I thought that is what it was. Why would I call them anything else but the name of the party?
They definitely are not democratic
-
Yeah scrambling babies up in the womb doesn't even raise an eyebrow to them, but God forbid you call the DUmbasses democrat. :whatever:
-
......"Excuse me; 'democrat' is a noun. 'Democratic' is the adjective.....
This is absurdly stupid. When either is used to tag the political group it becomes part of a name, or a proper noun. Was the "Soupy" in "Soupy Sales" an adjective?
-
I love it when they do this to each other :rotf:

I use that around uber-libs and watch them get pissed but not have the nerve to speak up.
-
So now as a group they want to be called Democratics? :uhsure:
-
......"Excuse me; 'democrat' is a noun.
No, you're wrong--'Democrat' is a disease--mental in nature.

This idiot can't get anything right.
It's childish to let it bother you, pig boy. I used to be a Democrat and it never bothered me. Then again, I was too mature for most Democrats even then. You have never grown up, son. Time to start trying before you die.

Not this shit again ...
Don't they go through this petty crap once every couple of months ?

Wow...buncha babies over there. I didn't even know they took offense, or that there was even anything to take offense to, but now that I do...

Actually, the primitives want to whine about Bo, but my fellow alum Skins won't let them whine about Bo.
And so this is a substitute, something safe for the primitives to whine about.
