Title: Consumerist.com showing its colors again
Post by: ferris209 on October 26, 2009, 02:26:15 PM
Howdy all,
Glad to finally join, been lurking for a while, but a recent post on a blog I frequent, Consumerist.com, really prodded me to make a post and hope that some of my conservative brethren will go over and point out real facts. It seems they are all hailing Al Franken for pointing out to Diana Furchtgott-Roth, a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute conservative think tank, that Switzerland never had a medical bankruptcy. STUPID!

Now they've disabled my commenting privileges because I dared to comment

"I do wish Consumerist would stay away from political commentary. Irregardless it is here, so, why do so many of you actually believe that government run health care would be consumer friendly?"

And yes, I know "irregardless" is not actually a word, I just like to use it to annoy folks.

Why bankrupt one person with medical expenses when you can bankrupt a whole damn country with'em.

NOT a WORD, as you say, and in the wrong section. If we still had BSs, you'd have your winkie wee-wee wacked...

(edited to change winkie to wee-wee. Wee-wee is the approved Navy term, and I want to make sure Sparkles understood the phrase)

Where is Sparkles, anyway?
