Flu bug. Yay. Not H1N1, but bad nonetheless. Was dead to the world on the couch all day Saturday. Had to bring myself and the family to the ER Sunday because of how sick everyone is. Worst weekend ever.

Eat a bowl of chili and drink a glass of warm pineapple juice. You'll will feel better in no time.
(Maybe I'm glad I got a flu shot after all :p)
(sorry you're so sick)

Jeez. Hope you got a family discount at the ER. Sorry to hear you are feeling sorry.
-
Drink some bacon grease mixed with cod liver oil.
Then you'll feel better...relatively.
-
Hope you all are feeling better soon!!

All you sick peeps are making me nervous. So far this house has dodged a bullet except for some icky colds. I have a feeling our luck will run out at some point. UGH!
Jinx, we once had to make the ER run in Florida for cripes sake. we were on vacation. It racked up about 3000 in 'out of network' bills since we were on vacation out of state and not near our in network people! I never get UTI..maybe had 3 in my life and the one time I get one was when we were down there and that requires antibiotics so I had to go to the ER too! Most expensive vacation ever(and the suckiest one!).
Hope the jinx household is feeling better in short order!

Jack Daniels. It won't heal ya, but you won't care. :hyper:
Take care, good luck, feel better.
-
Good thing you are getting this over with now. After Obumblecare is enacted, the ER wait could be a month long.

Sorry you feel like shit. If it's any consolation I have a slight case of vertigo today. :-*

Ain't it fun when the room won't stay still?

Ain't it fun when the room won't stay still?
I kind of freaked out this morning when it hit. I haven't had a case of vertigo in a long long time. I was having an aura (what you get before a migraine but I don't get the headaches anymore) and bent my head down to look in a drawer for a necklace to wear and BOOM.....the room started moving. I went over to my bed and sat down for a minute because I was afraid I was going to faint or something. Then I laid down for awhile. If I move my head to the side (either side) the floor feels like it is moving but if I keep it straight ahead and don't look up or down I feel normal. I don't know how I'm going to be able to pick up my daughter from school this afternoon if it is still hanging around by then.

I feel for you BEG. It seems vertigo is also going hand in hand with the sinusitis making its rounds too. My girlfriend got that first last week before she felt congested this week(made it impossible to do the zillion turns in our latest step routine) and I had it when I lost my voice and had some congestion too. Hope you aren't coming down with anything and hope it clears up soon. Going to be a really crappy season for sickness this year I think. Get better, sweetie:-X

The last time I had a seriously bad case was years and years ago. It was so bad that I had to lay down and not move at all. Even with my eyes closed I could feel the room moving. I also had to keep one foot on the ground too. It lasted for days. My doctor thinks it was related to my auto-immune disease.
It's not so bad now so hopefully by the time I have to get my daughter (in two hours) it will be gone.

I got up about 5 p.m. on Saturday to get water and use the bathroom and I felt like I was having an out-of-body experience. It was just a completely unreal feeling.

Get a lemon and cut it in half, heavy on the salt, stir with a fork. Squeeze down your throat. Do it again with the same piece of lemon.Do the 2-3 times a day.Sometimes I just squeeze into a glass, add salt and drink down. Helps raise the PH of the body, dissolves the mucus, and helps with pain. Don't forget to add electrolytes.A prayer sent with healing on it.
