I was more than halfway through a scathing retort...

But then it occurred to me to just say "screw it". I'm not going to convince anyone of anything on a ******* message board. When you remove yourself from the recs and unrecs and the preaching to the choir bullshit, you're left with jack-shit. Even the best of the "rec-whores" (you know who you are) rarely say anything important.

Call me cynical, but I'm never going to "DU" a non-scientific poll. Nobody cares about that shit, so stop asking.

Some of you dumb-butts take yourselves too seriously. During the time that you spend worrying about rec/unrecs, I've probably had a good bowel movement. Honestly, you're not convincing anyone of anything (unless you were trying to convince folks that you think highly of yourself)

How about we discuss news and politics, and maybe some of you can leave your fragile egos at the door.

That's fair, right?
