A northern Minnesota man has pleaded guilty to driving his motorized lounge chair while drunk.
A criminal complaint says 62-year-old Dennis LeRoy Anderson told police he left the Keyboard Lounge in Proctor on his customized La-Z-Boy after drinking eight or nine beers. ...

Hmm, caught bang to rights, he doesn't have a leg to stand on.
-
If convicted, he'll get the chair.

This may be a case where instead of getting the chair, it gets taken away..

...or he just gets a really cushy sentence.

Hell, if I had been the DA, I would have reclined to prosecute.

Got caught by the long arm of the law.

Not enough leverage to charge him?

MN has very stupid DUI/DWI laws.
You can get a DWI on anything w/ a motor, electric or otherwise. You can get a DWI if you're in you are "in control" of the vehicle, which basically means you have your keys on you.. even if sitting in the back seat.
