Title: Florida 7 year old missing since Monday potentially found in landfill
Post by: jtyangel on October 21, 2009, 07:29:48 PM
Don't know how many of you have been following this, but apparently this child was abducted(believed) Monday on her walk home from school. Police have gone to the landfill where trash from her area goes to and have found the body of a child her age with a similar birthmark :( There are about 100 sex offenders living within the area around her school.  :banghead: :banghead:WTF? Seriously!

And it's Florida! I can vouch for the pervs down that way. I remember moving there when I was 12 from Maryland and having 1 man try to coax me down an aisle in a dept store and 2 men flash themselves from cars and that was just before I was 13! Thankfully my mother was ever vigilant and ran off POS like this!

Anyway, here is the latest:

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,568982,00.html

Quote
nvestigators searching for a missing 7-year-old Florida girl said Wednesday that a girl's body has been found in a Georgia landfill, though the body has yet to be identified.

Clay County Sheriff Rick Beseler says the garbage at that landfill came from Orange Park, Florida, where Somer Thompson disappeared Monday while walking home from her school.

Florida authorities are going to the landfill to identify the body.

The girl's father was told by authorities the girl's body found in the landfill has a birthmark on her leg that matches the "odd-shaped" birth mark on his daughter's left shin, the Florida Times Union reported.

"I'm angry. I'm so angry. I'm so hurt," Samuel Thompson told the newspaper. "My baby daughter laying in trash. Discarded like a piece of trash. God help the sons of bitches who hurt my daughter. They better find them."

I get the sense he says 'they better find them' as in they better find them before I do. Good for him! I can't imagine he and his wife's pain right now. POS that take people's children like this and use them and discard them like a piece of trash. Ugh!!!! :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored:

May she rest in peace and given the fact it was someone in her neighborhood since that landfill is tied to that, may they catch this bastard and I vote let the neighbors do what they will with this pos. F*cking monsters.

Works for me.  I believe public executions would definitely send the message that this crap don't fly.

I would settle for the perps to suffer the same way the victims did, before being put to death.

Even keeping the perps away from kids would be a good start. When are we going to learn that there is no--NONE, ZIP, ZERO, NADA--such thing as a "reformed" child molester.

Agreed.  Prisons are for punishment, not reform.  Reform rarely, if ever is viable.

Why do we even have registered sex offenders. Child molesters and anyone who sympathize with them should be impaled and burned alive.

I totally agree....there is no rehabilitation....so kill the M-Fr's before they can harm another child!

I saw the police spokeman this morning say that this neighborhood has no more registered sex offenders than any other neighborhood across the country. (How many are not registered? More than 70 sex offenders are registered in that area.

Say what?

If that's the case....then Obama needs to be "fixing" that problem a whole hell of a lot more than health care!!

Apologists like to talk about the relative numbers of RSO's in an area.  I don't care.  It only takes one.   :banghead:

One big problem that exists with registered sex offender lists is that they have become a catch-all for some things that were harmless minor offenses.  Get caught peeing outside a bar? Too bad, on the list you go.  Moon someone from your car, yep, some states include that.

That's true.

But if some guy's been arrested, tried and found guilty of harming a child....just kill him.

That's why I am opposed to the idea of registered sex offender. How is public urination a sex offense crime????????????? That trivializes real victims of sex offenders.

I think dangling your dong might have something to do with it. You never know who might be on the other side of that wall that you're pissing against. Instead of brick, it might be glass that's supposed to look like brick and there are 14 8-year-old girls on the other side of the glass.

I say let us start executing child molesters BEFORE they become child killers.

There were something like 247 +/- child molesters living in Somer's neighborhood.
WTF were that many doing out on the street - they should have been in prison for life or dead.

I'm all for it. We're still dealing with those two freaks that wiped out the entire Petit family in Cheshire CT except for the father who escaped from his burning house to find his wife, 17 and 15 year old daughters raped and murdered. It is long past time to retake justice in our country, yet with the socialists in charge I fear it will never happen.

My daughter met a girl the first week at her new school. On the third day of school this little girl came over to play. I met both of her parents. A few weeks ago my neighbor came over and said she saw my daughter talking to the girl and her dad and that her friend told her that the dad was a sex offender.

I looked him up and he is a registered sex offender. He has three charges against him for child molestation. I don't know if it was all for the same incident or what.

So my neighbor talked to the principal. He told her that there isn't anything they can do about it. Because he has a child at the school, he has the right to be at the school. We felt this didn't sound right so she is checking into it.

Oh...when I looked him up there was a picture of him and it had to be in the last few years.  Also when I looked him up the friggen molesters are every where. I know they have to live somewhere, I think they should be put on an island somewhere far away from children.  It pisses me off that another child died because of these monsters.  If we find out this guy is a repeat offended I think someones head needs to roll.

Similar situation with my kids, except the RSO is their stepfather (God have mercy on him if I ever find out about him doing anything to my kids, cuz I won't).  Unfortunately, he can be at the school if he has a kid there.

So, we execute the child molesters and ship the other sex offenders off to a gulag in Northern Alaska.

So ya think a guy who's 25, meets a girl in a bar, has sex with her, then finds out she's only 16, deserves to be shipped off to a gulag in Northern Alaska?

I have no problem killin the scum that molests children...

I brought up some similar things in another thread. I do think that we have gone too far in labeling certain people as sex offenders. In the case you mention, that would be statutory rape in most states, but would the bar be at some fault for not checking IDs?

Most states now have IDs that are hard to duplicate, it's far more likely to borrow someones ID that looks like the person.  Bars around here have gotten stricter about checking. But back to the point of the 25 year old and the 16 year old, it's a tough call, especially if the girl actually lied about her age. To make it worse, is she pressing charges out of remorse, or are her parents? I'm not so sure that all statutory rape cases should result in being a registered sex offender.

Every American state keeps a register of sex offenders. California has had one since 1947, but most states started theirs in the 1990s. Many people assume that anyone listed on a sex-offender registry must be a rapist or a child molester. But most states spread the net much more widely. A report by Sarah Tofte of Human Rights Watch, a pressure group, found that at least five states required men to register if they were caught visiting prostitutes. At least 13 required it for urinating in public (in two of which, only if a child was present). No fewer than 29 states required registration for teenagers who had consensual sex with another teenager. And 32 states registered flashers and streakers.

That is just what I meant about the RSO lists being to broad. Supposedly there were hundreds of of RSO's in the area where Somer lived, how many of them could be excluded from being on the initial suspect list because they don't fit the profile.

The whole town is devistated by the news of her being found in a dump.I live close to several schools and now you don't see any child walking home carefree from school unaccompanied. This monster needs to be found ASAP.Please pray for this family...they will need all the prayers we can give to get through this.

Let's not forget that there are more than a few RSOs who are women.

It's most definitely true that an RSO does not have to be a child molester.

that's what I mean. There are plenty of opportunities to have to take a whiz when you're outdoors, and not just while drinking.

While volksmarching (http://www.ava.org), there are definitely not enough comfort stations along the way.

And it seems like every time I get out in my yard, I have to take a leak. Why is that?  :rotf:

Well, I think that needing to take a leak almost every time I step into my yard has more to do with needing to mark my territory rather than any kind of timing problem.  :-)
