I dunno how it is in other parts of the country, but since yesterday (Tuesday) morning, it's been grey and drizzly in the Sandhills of Nebraska.
Temperatures have been tolerable, circa 30 (low)-50 (high).
It's supposed to rain sometime.

Fog this morning. Tomorrow morning we will have :censored: thunderstorms again.
Tonight I get to change the oil in the truck and then bathe a dog. Yeah, I'm just livin' on the edge. :-)

I know it is shocking, but guess what! It is raining outside. Flash flood warnings are already in effect. YAY!
-
Just don't get confused and bathe the dog in oil, m'kay?
60 here today, bright, sunny, and windy. More rain coming in this weekend, and back to our "usual" routine of highs near 50, lows near 30.
Seabrook Death March Day 24, no end in sight.

Dog shampoo in the crankcase and 5W-20 for the dog. Check. :-)

I'm guessing the dog would have a whole lot less problems than the car would with that arrangement.

...but....but...but all those TV ads say they have detergent in the oil.

On the other hand....we have another day of sun to dry us out some. :-)

It's 74 right now (suppose to get up to 82) and I am freezing. Wonder if I'm trying to get sick or something.
Went to the dentist today, I really like her much better than my dentist back in Dallas. Years ago I had two crowns on my upper left back molars. I always got food stuck between them (I'm talking enough food to snack on would get stuck between them). So my old dentist said I had to have the crowns redone to close the gap. It didn't help, I still get a ton of food stuck between them. Now I have some decay because food gets stuck (even though I floss religiously and especially between those two teeth) so I really need the crowns replaced. It pisses me off that my dentist didn't do it right. Bastard.
I am so proud of myself. When we moved into this house I thought we would have to replace the SS sink because it looked so bad. I had tried everything to make it look better and nothing really worked (except for SS polish that only lasted until I used water in the sink again). So I googled ways to refinish SS sinks and found advice to get a 3M green/purple pad. I looked for them at Home Depot and couldn't find them. Then I went into the garage and found a purple 3M pad in my husbands tool box and decided to try it. My sink now looks BRAND NEW. It really works. You have to go with the grain, so if any of you try it out and screw up your sink don't blame me.

Thank for the tip. My car wheels need a good polishing. :p

Thanks for the tip. I've got the world's ugliest SS sink (look for it in next year's Guiness Book).
