Title: Adding memory to a Mac notebook circa 2007
Post by: Duke Nukum on October 17, 2009, 12:53:27 PM
Hi

I need to add some memory to my girlfriend's Mac notebook.  She told me it is something like a Macbook Pro dual core something 1.something Gig.  She's not around today and I would like to do what I suspect is a very simple operation.  I found a good video for a newer macbook but I am not exactly sure what to look for with her's.

Can I tell what kind it is from the Mac itself?  Like in Windows I can go to the Control Panel and then the System Properties and it tells me pretty much what I need to know.

TIA

http://www.crucial.com has a memory finder program. You can do it manually or d/l a simple program that will determine which memory you have.

Downloading the program is easier.

Second task for today is figure out how my battery charger (for charging a car battery) works.

Be well.

Uh, yeah, if I want to design one myself.  Then at least I wouldn't have to rely on poorly written manuals.
