New video obtained Wednesday shows chaos inside a east side clothing store after a woman said she would pay for other customers' merchandise after winning the lottery.

Cell phone video shows all the people trying to cash in on the deal Tuesday at the Burlington Coat Factory on East Main Street.

A woman arrived at the store, claiming that she recently won the lottery and wanted to buy things for other shoppers.

"I won the lottery for half a million dollars," the woman said.  "I don't want any of it and that's why I am here at Burlington."

Store managers told 10TV News that she paid for roughly $5,000 in merchandise with a debit card before her card's limit was reached.

She left in a stretch Hummer limousine to supposedly get more cash but never came back.  By 3 p.m. police announced the shopping spree was over and turned crowds away.

When shoppers learned the merchandise would not be paid for, some customers trashed the store.

The store closed early so that workers could clean up.  Some shoppers said they had carts filled with merchandise. ...

It's not just you.  She could be the poster child for the next $kinner shakedown on DUmmy Island.

I figured she must have mental issues.

I'd say she's not the only one--extend that diagnosis to everyone else in the store who thought they were getting "free" shit, then ended up trashing the place.

They all look like Obama voters to me....now extend that to all Obama voters and you see what the whole country will look loke when they find out he ain't gonna deliver on all the free stuff he promised.

If I won half a million dollars in some lottery, the very last thing I would do is treat a bunch of leeches to a shopping spree. I'd pay off some debts, buy another house, pay for my daughter's college,  and put the rest away.
