Title: Man gropes nurse, misses birth of his child
Post by: bijou on October 12, 2009, 08:46:21 AM
Quote
A man missed the birth of his child after he was arrested for groping one of the nurses assisting at the birth.

30-year-old Adam Jay Manning, from Bountiful, near Salt Lake City in Utah, brought the pregnant woman, who was going into labour with his child, into the McKay-Dee Hospital at about 3am on Friday morning.

Unfortunately, when a nurse arrived to help them, Manning made a comment about how cute she looked. While the nurse ignored him and instead helped the pregnant woman, Manning continued his less-than-chivalrous attempts to win the nurse's affections. ...

I didn't see anything in the article about divorce proceedings starting.  But, you can bet it's there . . .

Either that or some emergency medical treatment for him as a result of the beating he will have got.

I'm too lazy to follow the link, but the excerpt doesn't say she was actually his wife.

The three worst words in the NFL are, "On further review."

On further review of the article, it would appear that you are correct, DAT.  However, it would also seem that bijou's observation of a beating is probably close to the mark as well.

And the only question is whether the beating would have been administered by the pregnant GF, the offended nurse (my wife says that had she been the nurse, he'd have drawn back a bloody stump) - OR BOTH...

My guess is that they'd take turns.

Who the hell does that!!!??

My neices' father showed up to her birth (lo, these 16 years ago) with his new - pregnant - girlfriend on his arm.  I was not amused.

When my 3-year old niece developed seizures from a sinus infection he refused to get treated, I had to take him aside and let him know that the little girl was his insurance policy.  The moment anything else like this incident happened, or she looked upon him as anything less than the ideal father, I promised him that I would disappear his ass right off the face of the universe.

Needless to say, he's been a lot more responsible a parent - at least in my presence - since then.
