Title: Glow-BULL Warming Sunday
Post by: NHSparky on October 11, 2009, 05:32:54 AM
31 at the house this morning, not getting out of the low-50's today.  Last shift before day off.  Dog had an "accident" while I was at work yesterday--welcome home, Dad!

More fun than you can shake a stick at.  My Broncos are playing the Patriots and my Angels are taking on the Red Sox.  Won't get off work in time to see either game... :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Other than that, Mrs. Kennedy, how do you like Dallas?

Today is the only day without rain in the forecast.  We're around 11-12 inches above normal rainfall for the year.   Whoever has been playing around with the VRWC Weather Control Satellite TM can stop now.

Supposed to be around 60 today....but the sun is out, so that will make it feel warmer.

Lost our football game yesterday...the boys just didn't play well...lots of fumbles and stupid penalties.

Dinner also sucked.  The place we wanted to go, and had been looking forward to was closed for the weekend, due to some sort of incident/repairs needing to be made.  Crap.   Any other decent restaurnat around had at least an hour + wait.

Oh well.

Today we are supposed to have a baseball game...last game half the team was sick, though, so we'll see.

I saw where parts of Nebraska had 17 inches of snow yesterday.  A tad early for that, don't 'cha think?

We like it actually.  At least here in Galt's Gulch we do.  It shuts the Glow-Bull warming faggots over in the workers paradise of (PR)Boulder the hell up.

Currently 48° in the Music City.  It feels colder than that but only because it was in the 80's last week.   Slightly different work schedule this week... off tomorrow instead of Tuesday.  Keeps life interesting. :p

50 degrees right now, with 70's expected, but rain is (finally) coming starting on Monday/Monday night.  I'm hoping to get up the motivation to walk to church.  It is a nice little walk when I get myself ready early enough to do it.

We have new little doggie in the house.  My brother's friends parents decided that they couldn't keep their beagle because he was getting destructive and they couldn't house train her.  Our two dogs weren't too thrilled last night, but they are getting along much better this morning.  The beagle walks around smelling everything, and the german shepherd is following her around. I'm trying not to get too attached just yet because there is still a chance they will change their mind, but she is such a sweetie  :-)

I'd die Flame if I wasn't near water. I know it sounds dorky but I love the ocean. Walking or jogging on her shores or riding her waves brings me peace. I can sit for hours and just watch the waves roll in.
