Sarah Palin's "best seller" status already looks a bit dubious.
I noticed an ad for Palin's book FREE on one of the freeper sites. It seems Newsmax has bulk purchased them and is giving them away with subscriptions. So when the righties get all crazy about the awesome new book and how great it's selling, remember where you usually find Coulter books and most stuff by Regenry -- in the Dollar bin, after all the bulk purchases have to be dumped from inventory.

Such bulk purchases of books by political figures are quite typical, Left and Right. Certainly there is no other way to account for Hillary's book sales.

Politicians publish ghostwritten books because book sales, bulk or otherwise, are not subject
to campaign finance restrictions. Individuals are limited to only a few thousand dollars
contributed to a candidate, but can buy any number of books. I suspect a very small percentage
of politician-authored books sold are actually read, or even removed from their cartons.

I don't see much of the GOP establishment willing to pony up the cash to help Sarah Palin. Some of hers sales may be bulk, but I bet most of the pre-orders are legitimate.

Okay DUmbass that would simply mean Newsmax would consider it a valuable investment of resources to advertise its own product.
What makes that any different then a bookstore buying them to sell?
Not a bit and quite a bit different then Jim Wrights collection of one word chapters that were never marketed or distributed to the general public in any fashion.

Newsmax often offers a current best selling book as a premium to sign up for their service.
When unions buy some liberal screed in bulk, they simply warehouse them and never even think of giving them away free. Probably because nobody wants them.
