Title: Moonbat Attack on Recruiting Office: Fail
Post by: thundley4 on October 08, 2009, 03:24:19 PM
Quote
Tuesday will not go down as a day of triumph for Berkeley moonbats. After laying plans to stage a spectacle at the Marine Corps recruiting office as part of a nationwide campaign to target recruiters, communist militants from World Can't Wait/We Are Not Your Soldiers arrived to find the building defended by patriots:

This welcoming committee nixed any plans the activists may have had to vandalize the building again. Instead they stood around in the street, inanely shouting through megaphones at passing cars:

Concerned about this traffic hazard, a conscientious citizen called the police. The commies found themselves confined to the curb, where their ideology was kicked by civilization generations ago.

After an hour or so they crawled back under their rocks, whatever fees they may have paid for a demonstration and sound permits having been wasted.

Gotta love the Harley dudes.  :usflag:

There was an email sent out at work here to expect possible troubles around the base and at local recruiting offices.  From what I heard not a single moonbat could be found.   :rotf:

While I was on Recruiting Duty, I was relocated to an office that got vandalized by a bunch of moonbats. (I was in good shape and still into Judo at that time.)Then, about once every couple of months, I had to deal with moonbats protesting different things at the Military Entrance Processing Station. I never had to deal with any outright violence, myself.

A side note.... one of the moonbats protesting was in the Navy Reserves. His trial ended up allowing the flag to be burned as part of the First Amendment. He WAS discharged from the Naval Reserves with an OTH discharge, IIR.

I don't think my dad ever had to deal with that bullshit, thankfully.  He had a stressful enough time as it was.

HOW DARE PEOPLE VOLUNTEER FOR THE MILITARY! THIS OFFENDS MY FREEDOMS!

Protesting a draft I could understand. I really don't get why you'd protest people volunteering for anything.

You mean like volunteering to accept a punishment rather than a police record?

Last I knew, joining the military in lieu of jail was a disqualifying factor for ALL branches. This may have changed since 2003, but I don't think so.

You're still correct.

My reference was to the idiot flag burner at the VFW.

Moonbats got told  to "nut up or shut up" and then slithered away.

Yes. It was a generic 2nd person "you."

Sometimes with these people, you just have to sit back and enjoy the insanity. At least get some entertainment out of it.

Edit:

VVV Surely a grammar cop understands the 2nd person :D

Wasp, I certainly hope so. I'm assuming that his sentence used an improperly used noun. He should have used the pronoun, "They" or "one". [/grammar cop]
