Publication of the photographs could be a source of embarrassment for Palin, often mentioned as a possible 2012 presidential candidate. Her memoir, â€œGoing Rogue,â€ will be published next month and pre-sales already have made it a national best seller.

I hope the Palin family can find a way to cut off his parental rights. Most of the time I believe both parents should stay involved with the child, but this is not one of those cases.

What it amounts to is her daughter had something that is not unusual for a teenage girl: poor judge of character in the young man she is dating. It's why we hope to impart some wisdom in our daughters(and sons) so they don't make permanent(given they have a child together) mistakes like this.
