There have been TV sitcoms made up about WWII (Hogan's Heros, McHale's Navy etc.) , and Korea (M*A*S*H*).
Why not any made up about Viet Nam?
This popped into my head this evening while watching a few reruns of Hogan's heros and Mash.

Vietnam was considered a failure?
Wasn't Korea considered the same?
Or was that one a tie?

I was just wondering the other day about Archie Bunker and All in the Family. He wouldn't stand a chance today. I haven't watched TV sitcoms since NewsRadio left the air.

I think Korea was more of a tie, we're still there.

I don't watch many these days either. They have been replaced with so called "reality" shows, which I can't stand.

Yup. We are also still in Germany, Japan, Okanowa etc....
Time to revisit some overseas base closings. We won the 1st cold war. Time to move the troops for the new one.

It was a drama series just like "Tour of Duty" was. In fact China Beach was a spin off from Tour of Duty.
