I got a first hand taste of libertarian Obama hating crazy on my way home today
I was entering a highway and had my blinker on to move over to the left into the right hand lane. There was a car behind me and he was going really fast. He started honking at me and waving his arms. He came right up as close to the rear of my car as he could without touching my bumper. My first thought was wow, maybe the guy has some kind of emergency and is on his way to a hospital or something. So I moved over to the right as far as I could to let him go around me.
Then I saw another car behind that guy and the driver was honking and flipped the guy off. I still thought this guy had to have some kind of emergency and maybe the other driver didn't understand.
About that time the first guy came up on my left and he was waving his hands at me. I rolled down my window and motioned for him to go around me and he didn't. At this point we were side by side in a highway entrance lane that was only designed for one car, not two side by side. So I moved over more to the right and I even slowed down a bit so he could get in front of me.
He didn't go around me. He held up his middle finger and yelled out his window "**** OBAMA AND YOU TOO".
About that time we entered the highway. I was in the right lane and this guy pulled over right next to me in the left lane. He kept looking over at me and honking and yelling. I couldn't tell what he was yelling because I had rolled up my window by then. I pulled over and called 911.
As this guy passed me I watched to get his tag number and I noticed two bumper stickers on his car. One said RON PAUL WAS RIGHT and the other one was something about Obama. I couldn't read it all. Then I realized my OBAMA bumper sticker must have set him off.
The cops told me to pull off of the highway at the next exit and I did. They also said they had received another call and the description I gave of the car was the same. The dispatcher said "This guy's on a roll today!" A few minutes later, as I hung up the phone, I heard sirens and assumed (hoped) the cops went after him.
Pretty creepy, eh?
Yeah. The Die alte Sau is pretty creepy.
New bonfire; just two primitives thus far with one-sentence responses.

Damn, this happens to her every time she goes out in public. :whatever:

It does seem so, doesn't it?

Bouncy bouncy. Negative-20 bongs.

Something similar happened to me about '07 when someone was honking and motioning to me to roll down my window. I wondered if my car was on fire. A young man yelled, "George Bush Sucks!" and drove away.
I actually didn't understand what he had said until he was gone and when I put it all together, I wondered if he did that a lot and if it made him feel better.

I've noticed a few people with 0 bumper stickers. Not once have I noticed anyone giving them a hard time. I've even seen a handful of liberal stickers. Still no hard time.
If my vehicle was junked out enough I would be tempted to plaster it with 0 and lib stickers just to see if I could get some sort of reaction.

Strange...I almost believe it.

The dispatcher said "This guy's on a roll today!"
B.S. No professionally trained dispatcher would say that to a civilian.

Not necessarily the case.
Last year, I got my sailboat hung up in a kelp bed during a family reunion on the California coast. When my wife was on the cell with the Coast Guard dispatcher out at Anacapa Island, they let it slip that it would be a while before they could get to me, they were searching for a "mentally disturbed kayaker who'd been unaccounted for since 09:00 that morning".

Not a chance! It's a MAJOR no no to get involved at all! You're basically required to sound as if you're giving a monologue in monotone. That's how they train you. I know several ladies in dispatch at the sheriff's office. Besides, this one cries wolf every time she gets in her car!

Almost a year after the election, I still see around northern Vermont cars sporting their eight to ten inch circular OBAMA/BIDEN sticker, usually affixed to the back of a Prius or other fine automobile, usually without any other bumper stickers, but sometimes accompanied by a "BERNIE" sticker, usually driven by a middle-aged professional looking person. I have yet to go berserk, shake my fist, or even scowl at any of these people. I just think quietly to myself how sad it must be to go through life so stupid, and be so proud of it.

I see them all the time travelling back and forth to Albany.

I saw a Kerry/Edwards sticker still on a car the other day...I just laughed.

We have had countless examples of 911 call centers coming in under that bar. It's quite possible, of course considering the source, the veracity is entirely open to question.

It's amazing how often this kind of incident happens to her.
My guess is that she was tailgated and some guy was yelling and waiving his arms at her but it had nothing to do with her obama bumper sticker. She's probably one of those idiots who doesn't know how to merge onto the interstate. Does a stop and go on the on-ramp, finally gets the courage to get in the right lane while only doing 30 MPH and then slowly accelerates.

I dunno, coach. If the arrogantly obnoxious, but charming, TLB is truly down for the count this
time, you'll have to choose between this old creep, and the hateful DUmmy cali.
My money is on cali, since you are so beguiled by her stupid emoticons.

She was probably driving so slow on the acceleration ramp that she severely interrupted the flow of traffic, thus risking an accident and pissed people off, being a danger to humanity and all. Either that or one of her former students recognized her.

Oh, the bitter old Vermontese cali primitive is miles above the Die alte Sau.

She called 911? :whatever: :bs:

I don't recall what county designation was on the last "Obama" car I saw...but the driver was doing 50 in a 65. As I was lucky enough to fly up behind them on an empty road, I just flew right on by, but still caught the bumpersticker. Odds are, proud was driving way too slowly for traffic and caused the problem herself...if any of it's true. ::)
