Title: UN to inspect Iran's new nuclear plant on Oct 25
Post by: Chris_ on October 04, 2009, 09:22:08 AM
TEHRAN (AFP) – Inspectors are to visit Iran's new uranium enrichment plant on October 25, UN atomic watchdog head Mohamed ElBaradei said on Sunday, adding that "concerns" remain about Tehran's nuclear aims.

Iran had given the assurance that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspectors would be given access to the new plant which is being built in a mountain near the holy city of Qom, south of Tehran, ElBaradei told a news conference in Tehran.

"There are concerns about Iran's future intentions and this is not a verification thing," he said. "We are concerned but we are in no way panicking about Iran's nuclear programme."

ElBaradei was speaking after holding talks with President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and other officials about Iran's nuclear drive, which the West believes is a cover for a nuclear weapons programme.

And this comes amidst the news that Iran has the knowledge and possibly the ability to make a nuclear bomb.

Kind off makes you wonder what else may be hidden. You know, while your watching the left hand. I don't believe for a minute you can trust the Iranians.

He already has. Congress is now saying, "We should have a Iran Week." You know, to spank them with sanctions. Their ideas are real weak. But even with that, Obama's administration is saying no, that's not necessary, we got em' on the run now.
Pitiful.

Hey, the Air Force has those TV-guided bombs right? That's an inspection. Kindof.

How convenient that they build the place into the side of a mountain. It's harder to bomb the crap out of it there. Suspicious indeed. At least we're getting a look of sorts. The UN had better plan on doing this regularly. while we're at it I'd like a pony.

We need to find the other two or three underground nuclear facilities they have.  They knew we knew about this one, so its a decoy.

Things I'd look for would be electrical generating stations and power transmission lines serving areas of minimal propulation.
