The idea is to push for a brokered election for the dems this August. The infighting and bitterness stretched out over a year could help the GOP as the democrat nominee would only be able to start the campaign in Sept for President.
So would you, a republican, cross the party line in Texas and vote for Hillary to prolong the agony of a divided party?
There would be no need to change party affiliations or re-register.
Its not like they haven't done the same to us...
My ethics are not so pristine that I wouldn't do this. I would love it!

I voted no, based on personal experience.
I fully intended to vote for the Glacier in our Wisconsin primary a couple weeks ago, but when I got in that booth...
I. Just. Couldn't. DO. IT!!
I have not cast a ballot for a Dem on the state or national level since 1980, and couldn't force myself to do it now.

If I lived in Texas, and didn't mind shocking the finger, yeah, I'd push the button for Her Royal Thighness. The longer this goes on, the better. McCain isn't fully going after Obama, but Clinton is. Plus I love the chaos coming from the Dims eating their own. It's almost orgasmic.

You forgot the "Jooooooooooos" option! :-)
I'm seriously considering sitting out all of it.
-
I would.
I don't trust the RNC or McCain to be bold enough to beat either Obama or Clinton so it works in our interest to have the Clinton dirty tricks going on a little longer and hope for a brokered Democrat convention.
Plus, I don't want to have to vote for McCain until I absolutely have to. The only thing that makes him barely tolerable is running against Clinton or Obama. If there was a reasonable Democratic running, like say Zell Miller or Lieberman if Lieberman were just a little more conservative, I could go for one of them.
But there are no reasonable Democratics in the mainstream of that party anymore.

And thank God for that.
Sure, I'd do it. The GOP nom is a done deal, why not at least keep the pot stirred up for our beloved treason-loving, terrorist-appeasing DUmbocrat Party?
:cheersmate:

Not just no, but hell no.

We've already had our primary, but my brother lives in Ohio. I suggested the same thing to him, but they have party-selection requirements when you register to vote. The longer HRC hangs in there, the longer we get to watch them beat each other up and generally make fools of themselves. It would be fun.
-
Absolutely. The longer they shoot at each other, the less unified the party is. If HilLIARy wins the nomination, Denver around the 27th of August will resemble Chicago in the summer of 1968. If the BarackStar wins, Bill's ego may cause him to sabotage the BarackStar.

If I ever did something that disgusting...my only hope for restitution to mankind would be that a bus would run me over as I was crossing the street to my car.

I heard Texans were doing this the other day .. I had to laugh at the sheer genius of it, but I'm not sure I would personally do it.
