The RW NutJobs are a piece of work, aren't they? Obama could propose a bill to give every Republican a free 5000 sq ft home, a new car of their choosing, a $100,000 bank account (tax free, of course) and they would work feverishly to shoot it down.
I'm so sick of the stupid SOB's I could spit. Those assholes will do or say anything just to be contrary... asinine ****s.
First of all DUmmy someone has to pay for all that. Secondly he could propose that all he wants by the time it passed we would end up paying double market value for that house and car and 99% of that $100,000 would be taken back in taxes.

Our debt is well over 11 trillion dollars, (I know, with unfunded mandates it considerably higher) the budget is exploding, unemployment is well over 10% with no end in sight, and the DUmmies want to hold the Olympics in Chicago so cost over runs will be 6x (or higher) the projected budget, for two weeks
of international competition? What is wrong with this picture?

For the sake of the primitives I want to be very clear about this.
We as Republicans/conservatives are most definately not cheering that America lost its bid for the Olympics. We are, however, cheering that it upsets you whackos and that you'll lament that it will be preceived as a defeat and rejection of your cult figure-head Dear Leader, which it is. He's a worthless piece of trash and as stupid as it gets, so I expected nothing less from him than complete and utter failure which, as a result of his weak efforts, he was awarded on the first ballot.
That is all.

Didn't the Chicago political machine come out and say that the federal gubbment, i.e., you and me, would foot the bill? No city that has ever hosted the Olympics came out in the black, but ended up losing millions or billions. The Olympics are lame anyway. Every time I've tried to watch them it was nothing but constant commercials and "special interest" stories on the lives of the atheletes. It's like trying to watch a football game and having 3/4 of the time alloted watching commercials or the life story of some linebacker you've never heard of. I'll pass.

Is that ever the truth!! There is no "human interest" side to sports, especially when they're
talking about some 80 pound Bulgarian pixie. Combine that with the stupid array of events,
like team handball, and whatever they call that deal where little anorexic chicks twirl ribbons
on sticks. Then mix in the fact most Olympics are in some hellhole 12 time zones away so you
already know what happened.
Olympic TV coverage was far better back in the days when TV time was limited and they focused
on things Americans might be interested in.
