I saw that, too. I'm sure they "explain" it in the film, but the real reason is to make a crappy movie more exciting.

The bridge just happened to be collapsing, too. Then I saw some shit where they were flying low and an Earthquake almost got them. FFS, if the world is collapsing, I'd be up at 20,000 feet or greater.

Didn't it say it was also on "comcast on demand"? We don't have comcast, but does that mean that it can be viewed on tv - in it's entirety - before it comes out in the theatre?

Naw, it's just a scene from the movie they're playing, not the whole thing.

Knowing was okay, but for some reason the previews made me think it would be more Biblically Disaster oriented.

:offtopic:, but yeah the previews made it out pretty different then it was, but still good.

2012 looks like the trailer has the best 2 minutes of action in the whole movie.

Not surprising, as they used a lot of biblical imagery - esp. at the end.

You may have seen a promo for something similar on the History Channel. I caught it a couple of times last night.
