Title: Bill Clinton Says Vast, Right-Wing Conspiracy Focused on Obama
Post by: bijou on September 27, 2009, 11:31:55 AM
Quote
WASHINGTON -- Bill Clinton said a vast, right-wing conspiracy that once targeted him is now focusing on President Obama.

The ex-president made the comment in a television interview when he was asked about one of the signature moments of the Monica Lewinsky affair over a decade ago. Back then, first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton used the term "vast, right-wing conspiracy" to describe how her husband's political enemies were out to destroy his presidency. ...

And they try to say the right are all a bunch of dangerous CT. Bill Clinton has sure been pushing O's agenda for the last week - first he changes his mind on "gay marriage", then he predicts that 2010 won't be anywhere as bad for the Democrats as 1994 was, now this. He's trying to use his popularity to boost Obama's, which won't work - the VRWC is stronger today than it was back when Hillary first exposed it.

Or he could just be crazy like a fox.

Think about an alternate possibility--it's 2012, NONE of Obama's policies have worked, unemployment is still hovering in the double-digit range, inflation is kicking in, and our name is crap abroad.

Ah, but along comes Hillary, fresh from resigning the Sec State job the year before, with a "new" vision of improving our image, healing the economy, etc.  Remember, Carter damn near lost his party's bid for re-election to Ted the Swimmer, and had it not been for Ted's baggage vis-a-vis Mary Jo, might well have won the Democratic nomination in 1980, so inept was Carter.

Ya think Bubba might be setting up Zero for a fall so Hillary can make a serious run in 2012?  Put NOTHING past this man, EVER.

Hillary would be insane to want to run for 2012.  Obama is going to destroy the Democrat name worse then Carter did.  Whoever our candidate is in 12', the only thing that's gonna keep him outta that office is if some murdered child from his past is uncovered.

She's gonna have to wait til 2016 or 2020 before she has a reasonable chance at making it.

At which point, she'll be over 60.  She needs to run in 2012 before they can pull the age card out on her.

Hillary is over 60 already. But , no matter how old she gets, she'll still be an idiot.

She will then cry about people not voting for her because of her age.

D'Oh!  Correct.  She'd be pushing 70 in 2016, the same age as McCain was last year.  Oh, tell me that wouldn't go over just swimmingly in a Dem primary race.

As loathesome as Hillary is to me, there's one thing she is certainly not and that's an idiot.

She's power-thirsty, narcissistic, egotistical, and utterly ruthless, but she is definitely no idiot.

The only time I see her not making a play for the national center stage is when she's permanently planted.

I have to admit, although I don't like any of the Clinton's policies, I do think Bill would be fun to hang out with.  I really don't take the dude seriously, he's just kind of like that friend we all had in high school who made all the parties fun, but never got caught with the alcohol and your mom even liked him.  Hillary reminds me of the his bitchy mom more than his wife.

Waaaaaay down deep, Slick Willie's about as plastic as they come. When he wistfully looks into your baby blues and croaks, "Ah feel your pain," he's really trying to angle a way into your pants - if you're female, of course.

You are dead on, there.  And that is my exact point.  I am not a woman, but as a single guy, he would be fun to hang out with.  He is more concerned about getting into some pudgy girls pants than he is about politics.  That's why I can't take him seriously and I am suprised that the entire world did for eight years.

What stuns me is the complete failure of educated people to see Obama as the latter day Huey Pierce Long that he is!

http://uk.encarta.msn.com/encyclopedia_761573974/Long_Huey_Pierce.html

Huey Pierce Long
Huey Long was elected governor of Louisiana in 1928 and Senator in 1930. Long supported Roosevelt in 1932. In 1934 he founded the Share Our Wealth movement and presented a soak-the-rich Share Our Wealth plan to the nation. The Kingfish from Louisiana very popular among the common people and was a potential third party candidate for the presidential elections in 1936. In September 1935 however, Senator Huey Long was assassinated in Baton Rouge. For more information about Huey Pierce Long, go to:

http://www.balladofearlklong.com/rebellious2.html

Long was indeed killed by his bodyguard by accident. The ASSASSIN'S wounding of Long was not a mortal wound, even in 1935, but the .38 round from the bodyguard was almost imediately fatal.

That Obama could be elected shows that HISTORY is no longet tought in highschool.
