 Ten years ago, moviegoers were scared out of their minds by "The Blair Witch Project." Will the newly released screamfest "Paranormal Activity" have the same effect? Early search interest points to "yes."

The film is shot documentary style (but is scripted, like "Blair Witch"), and concerns a couple who may have a poltergeist in their home. They're dubious at first, but quickly change their tunes after "things" start happening. But by then is it too late? After all, horror movies have a tendency to punish doubters as much as amorous teenagers.

Not really.  I saw a brief and quite vague write up on it a few weeks ago, stated even less than the link you have.  Doesn't look too promising from what I caught of it.  Shrugs

Blair Witch scared the doody out of me.  I knew it wasn't real but I still wouldn't go into the basement alone for a long long time.  I will probably watch this one too.

I can watch all sorts of scary stuff EXCEPT for ghosts.

I don't believe in ghosts or paranormal anything at all.

Horror movies are about on the same level as comedy.  I laugh at them if they're any good.
