Just got a phone call...BIL will be in Iraq fighting the war within 24 hours
   
we knew last month he was going and said he didn't know when but we knew it would be within the month

guess they boarded an airplane today

Of course this all could be Bullshit and she is planning on claiming he died so she can get attention.
Time will tell since she isn't good at keeping her lies straight.

I call horseshit.  Units deploy with FAR more than 24 hours notice, and besides, just GETTING to Iraq takes longer than that.

Five Westpac deployments, and we knew months in advance the general timeframe (within a week), and the specific date of departure and return several weeks before we actually left.

Not to defend her (God knows I wouldn't) but, my unit when I was in the Army deployed in 24 hours. We knew we were going at some point but the official notice came 24 hours beforehand. But, odds are the entire thing is made up.
