"The Obama administration has notified Congress of the State Department's intention to contribute $400,000 to foundations run by Muammar Qaddafi's two children — $200,000 each for daughter Aisha and son Saif. Saif, you may recall, is the son who escorted the Lockerbie terrorist Abdel Baset al-Megrahi home to a hero's welcome in Libya after President Obama sternly "warned" Qaddafi that there was to be no hero's welcome."
Remember when the left said that accusing Obama of "palling around with terrorists" was a vicious smear? How about giving taxpayer money to organizations run by terrorists? True, 400 Large is only a drop in the bucket compared to the $900,000,000 Chairman Zero pledged to Hamas, but there is a distinct pattern here, isn't there? Our allies get crappy DVD collections, but terrorists get truckloads of money.

I'm sure that the children of the former terrorist Gadhafi, are fine upstanding children and that their charities are at least as worthy of support as Hamas is.

What we see here is the tip of the iceberg. Why does the government give millions to the AARP, acron, SEIU, NAACP or any of thousands of supposedly community service groups? AARP takes in millions of dollars from it's members isn't that enough?
And the answer is, if the government gives you money, then they controls you and you gotta for democrats...
As Herbert Hoover said, "The minute you allow the public direct access to the treasury you will create chaos beyond anything mankind has ever known." Since that time politicians have turned using our tax dollars to buy votes into an art form.
