I learned last night that the school took my son out of class and sat him down to take a 120 question survey with such questions as:
* Have you ever taken drugs?
* What drugs have you taken?
* How many times have you been arrested?
Before anyone leaps in here with the, "Well, that's what the schools have to deal with these days" defense they had better first come packing reasons as to why MY child should have his education interrupted with these suppositions.
After seeing the Obama Youth video and the article about an Arizona school setting up a race-based discipline codes I'm at patience's end.

Could this have been one of the random CDC questionnaires that get passed to schools to have filled out? Even if it was, they should still have parental permission, but that may have been part of form, to have it done before the parent knew about it.

Ugh. I feel your pain. While not as bad, mine came home telling me that before we buy a new ______ (car, applicance, even pet!, etc..) we needed to consider it's impact on the environment. :whatever: This is being pushed in our schools here....

So, your kid must have been arrested a lot for you to be so touchy about it, huh?
:evillaugh:

If he were ever arrested I'd beat his ass...
...for being too slow and stupid to outrun the donut-munchers.

I took those questionnaires in high school as a Senior. Everyone in my class took it.
