I went out last night and had a few beers with some friends (grinning like a cheshire cat :whatever:),

I am going out tonight to watch a friend's band with my husband,
and I am going to a big girl hat/martini/cigar/sleepover tomorrow night.

Well I had Miller Lite tonight in honor of a friend's birthday. We shared some laughs and had a great time!

I just got up from my nap. I haven't decided if I want food or beer right now.

"Fizzy" key lime water....or whatever it's called. It's the flavored carbonated water....I'm hooked on it. :-)
So....my office is like my "cave"....have a very comfy loveseat, my tv....my OWN remote.
I'm laying on the loveseat earlier....Fox News on low, raining outside -again, reading a cooking magazine.
Ya know when something appears in your peripheral vision....but it's fast and doesn't really register at first?
Well....it was a little squirrel with a very large fluffy tail being chased by first Jazzy, then Bailey.....zoomed right by the front of the loveseat, took the turn around the corner at 50, came up over the back at a leap and out the door again. Followed by Jaz, Bailey's going :wtf3: and Skyy brings up the rear with a look of :huh?:
I on the other hand....start screaming for the other half!!!!
Cats chased it down the stairs, through the kitchen into the dining room, into the foyer, down into the study, into our bedroom when we caught up with everybody.
Even small squirrels can leap quite far! :o
So can cats when they are on a mission!!! :o :o :o
Poor squirrel kept going from one window to the other looking out trying to figure how to get back to it's favorite tree.....
Zoom....into the bathroom (we had closed the doors to the bedroom)...zoom....zoom....we close the door to the bathroom...
Into the shower....into the closet....into the potty room...aha!!
Trapped!!
M goes and gets a pair of work gloves...I get a soup pot and lid....( :thatsright: like that's going to accomplish anything :whatever:)
M goes into the potty room and closes the door...
Growling and various forms of 4 letter words begin to emit from behind the door....
The gloves aren't thick enough...so I'm sent off to get a thicker pair....also grabbed a garbage bag on my way back thinking that my soup pot may not be such a good idea....and it's one of those Glad bags that are quilted...the ads say they can hold anything!?! Poor cats are sitting outside the bathroom door wondering how come they don't get to come in and play....
Get back to the bathroom door...

Door opens with M holding the squirrel and squirrel's mouth clamped onto one gloved finger...we got the squirrel into the bag, pulled it closed and I took it to the front porch and released him back outside....he took off running!!!

Cats were so forelorn after it was gone...Jaz and Bailey kept looking at us like we were so mean....we always take their "toys" away from them.... :uhsure:...the lizards are soooo much easier to deal with than the squirrels though.... :lmao:
My pretty yellow pot got a dent.... :bawl:

Late to the party, as usual. Budgeted my money for the next two weeks, assuming I don't deal poker (I didn't last night). Ooooohhhh...it's gonna SUCK.
Bud Light weekend. At least I took the "long" way home and only paid $2.43/gallon to fill up. Do that once every four days and I should be okay between now and the 1st.
