Naked Motorcyclist Stopped, Arrested On I-75
OCALA, Fla. -- Police pulled over and arrested a naked man riding a motorcycle on I-75 in central Florida early Tuesday morning.
Marion County Sheriff’s Capt. Moshoji Rolls spotted J. Dante Krauss, 45, on a silver motorcycle on the interstate, wearing only his birthday suit.
"I thought the driver of the motorcycle was not wearing clothing," Rolls said.
The deputy decided to follow the naked biker.
When Krauss ran a red light, Rolls pulled him over.
Video from a dashboard camera showed Rolls questioning Krauss.
When asked where he had been, Krauss stated, "I don’t know." Also, Krauss admitted he had been drinking and Rolls said there was a mild odor of alcohol emitting from him and his eyes were watery and bloodshot.
"I'm just trying to figure out why you don’t have any clothes on," the deputy said.
"Me too," Krauss replied.
"The defendant could not explain why he was not wearing any clothing," said Judge Cochran, Marion County Public Information Officer.
After field sobriety test was conducted, Krauss was placed under arrest and transported to the Marion County jail.
The sheriff's office said the incident is the fifth DUI for Krauss, who was released from the Marion County Jail Tuesday afternoon.

Knowing Florida, it's probably not illegal to ride your motorcycle nekkid. :-)

Hey Tantal, no offense, but Texas Laws aren't much better. I've seen 'tards riding their motorcycles with tennies, shorts, no shirt, no gloves, and no helmet. I just shake my head at the stupidity of some folks. (Point of clarification: Texas has no helmet law)

Agreed. I always wear a full face helmet, jeans, boots (that cover the ankles), armored jacket, and usually armored gloves. I've grown rather fond of having skin.

Those are usually the same ones I see swerving through traffic at 70mph. 401N in Raleigh had a crowd of goobers that spent all weekend with their little rice rockets zipping up and down the street. I don't know why the police didn't monitor their little area more... maybe I should have mentioned it to them. The again, everybody drives like they're in NASCAR on Capital Blvd... packs of cars all racing at 75 on a 55mph road. God forbid you end up being 'lapped traffic' while minding your own business.
