President Obama will appear on five Sunday talk shows this weekend, a senior administration official said Monday, becoming the first president to do so as he attempts to maintain momentum for his health care overhaul.
In making the rounds -- appearing on NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN and Univision back-to-back -- Obama will do a modified version of "the Full Ginsburg," as such a sweep was dubbed after Monica Lewinsky's lawyer, William H. Ginsburg, became the first person to do five broadcast shows it in 1998.
It is rare for a president to appear on a single Sunday show, let alone multiple ones. (The original "Full Ginsburg" included Fox News, which was cut out of the loop this time and replaced with the Spanish language Univision).
The appearances will cap a week of multiple trips and speeches for Obama, suggesting that White House officials are not concerned with the potential of his overexposure. If anything, they have an opposing view: Administration officials feel Obama's performance before Congress last week helped move his health care effort forward, and that it got another lift from his raucous health care rally in Minnesota over the weekend.

Is there anyone who watches those programs that hasn't already completely made up their minds on this? Univision maybe, the rest just seem more like "Jesus, that narcissistic f*cker's hogging the tube again."
On edit - it would be interesting to know how he addresses the coverage of illegals to the Univision audience.

Even going on all 5 of those shows...he still won't get to as many people as he would sitting down with Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday.

LOL, wonder why he's skipping over FOX News? Obama is such a media whore.
I doubt I'll watch any of it either, or his appearance on David Letterman next week where he insisted on being the ONLY guest and gets to bring his teleprompter.

I can see what the Fox playbook will be. After 0bama spouts his lies without being called on them by the sycophantic hosts of the shows that he graces with his presence, Fox will have on guests to rebut his lies. This makes 0Bama look foolish and the other networks look even worse.

Just what exactly is it that Obama does?
He's constantly out and about the country making, what are essentially, campaign speeches....or travelling about the world, or going on TV shows.
All of which cost the country thousands upon thousands of dollars in travel expenses, staff and Secret Service expenses and all the paraphenalia that accompanies him on every outing.
What happened to walking into the Oval Office, doing actual work and not running up the dollar cost of being the President?

He's behaving more like a celebrity than the President. He's an empty suit.

That's it in a nutshell - he has little practical experience to fall back on, save for 'community organizing' which is a function of using charisma to deliver a message - And Obama does it WELL. Honestly, he is by far the most Charismatic leader I've seen since Bill Clinton.
But charisma alone doesn't a President make.

He hasn't been President long eough to offer any kind of comparison, but when things get tough on the O-ministration, he seems to drop back into Campaign Mode... fluff, pretty words, and zero substance.
