"We don't need hope, we need freedom!"
Mason Weaver (motivational speaker and a black man). He's doing a great job throwing out the lies of the radical right wing extremists.
"This is about socialism and we want our freedom back!"
Now Mike Pence telling the crowd they look like the calvary and can set the course of this country for a generation.
:wtf:

2. The irony of this
If the teabaggers had their version of "freedom" and "restoring what made America great", Mason Weaver would be in chains picking cotton right now.
:whatever:

"Freeper" is a little too close to "freedom" for my comfort. Does your name mean "racister" now? Alert! Alert! :evillaugh:
Also, "code word" is now code word for "the secret thesaurus of projection in my head". :p

A conservative can say, "The sky is blue", and the DUmpmonkies will say that is a codeword for racism.
They have nothing so they have to resort to screaming "RACIST!!!1111" at us.
They are frustrated that Obama doesn't have the balls to go against what the people want and, that we are daring to not worship at his feet.
They wanna talk about racism then all they have to do is look at the DUmp and how they treated Condi Rice.

Nature of the beast.
fwiw- I'm 3/4 the way through Jonah Goldberg's 'Liberal Fascism" and though the book does not surprise, (I was already "there" conceptually) it was quite informative as history and thorough in it's notes. Good book.

The day-long Tea Party rally in Sacramento fired up more than 10,000 Patriots and dispelled myths and argued facts about a variety of hot-button issues, including the plight of Central California farmers, logging industry, health care and cape-and-trade.
Longtime motivational speaker and probable California congressional candidate Mason Weaver revved up the crowd with his humor and more importantly, candor.
Weaver, who happens to be black, says “we are all American’s no hyphen required.â€
He went on to explain how the current administration is busy taking away basic freedoms and compared the current administration to plantation owners. “You have 100 percent employment, you have a house, you have food, but what they forget to remind you of is you have no freedom!â€
“American’s voted for hope and change, but what they got was rope and chains,†Weaver shouted to the excited audience. “If this is a mob, where do I sign up?†...

I'm about half way through it. Very informative, indeed.
