The freedom to be self sufficient.
The freedom to not have 80% of our income taken by the Govt.
The freedom to choose to not buy health insurance if for some reason its not economically feasible at the time.
The freedom to let grandma have surgery so she can have a better quality of life those last years instead of being doped up.
The freedom not to pay for sex change operations, nose jobs, and treating the paper cuts you goons get when you roll a joint or open a Cheetos bag.
A better question is what freedoms did Bush take from you?
What is now illegal for you to do that was legal before 2000?

There is no answer is why. Not one right was stripped from any of us. The only rights not given were to terrorists because they are not citizens.
And the wiretapping bullshit still required court approval the procedure was just streamlined a bit.
