In lieu of Joe's open thread, I want to talk a little bit about something that happened late yesterday.
FOX's Glenn Beck, whose criticism got a top Obama aide fired this week, has also been agitating about ACORN and its involvement with the 2010 census. The Obama administration has just announced that it is severing its ties with ACORN, and they admitted that they made the move because of the conservative criticism.
The Census Bureau on Friday severed its ties with Acorn, a community organization that Republicans have accused of voter-registration fraud.
In splitting with Acorn, Mr. Groves sought to tamp down negative publicity that the partnership would taint the 2010 census.

I really doubt anyone or very few support a gov't funded organization, Acorn, (they take funds), proactively setting up a house of prostitution.
Skirting tax laws and lets be honest, this house would have been in a area where people who need real help and are trying to live crime free and raise thier children.
Not every Acorn employee is corrupt but those who are should be removed.

and ACORN should have trained it's people so tightly, and have such tight procedures, that that should never have happened.
Especially given that they knew they were being over-scrutinized by the public.
Yeah ACORN should have trained them not to be so blatant when it comes to fraud.

If ACORN is innocent DUmmies then why fire the two employee's? They have laws for wrongfull termination you know. Then again you would have to actually hold a job longer then 30-90 days to probably get that far in the work force to understand that.

Seriously, although Obama is running scared of his own association and I think that mostly motivates it, let's be honest here dummies: what these ACORN employees did will bring illegitemacy to the census results if they were allowed to be involved now. They've shown themselves to encourage subverting the very government they would have worked for. Even Obama can't be stupid enough not to connect the dots there. And liberals are supposed to be soooo enlightened and smart. I've seen firsthand how they shoot themselves in their proverbial foots when they treat conservatives like idiots and try and talk in code behind their back. When they get called on their shit they try and go one thousand other directions and attack rather then address their own hypocrisy. That DU thread is just another case in point. Attack Glenn Beck, attack the two young people who did this, attack, attack, attack conservatives, but never address the real issues this pointed and don't ever point out all the underhanded things ACORN has done over the years to earn the scrutiny they are getting.

You have to train people to NOT be complicit in the importation of underaged sex slaves?
What does that tell you about liberals' moral start point?
And if I may: Even if ACORN had simply "overlooked" this aspect of training what exacty did this pack of lone wolves feel ACORN was able to offer a budding criminl enterprise?
I'm waiting for some of these bodies under the bus to start rolling over to save their own necks. It's only a matter of time.

*If they think health care for them is restrictive now, just wait until this goes through (yet they will still blame it on republicans).
