Title: Monday Moanin'

It's cold.  August 31st, and it was 50 degrees this morning.  What happened to summer?  We never even hit the 100 mark this year, and only had about 2 different weeks that hit the 90's.

Cool here this morning, but I'm loving it!  It will be interesting to see if this cool trend carries over throughout the winter.

  Been a strange summer and an even stranger August here. Not squeaking though. The cool weather was a welcome change from the sweltering Missouri summers.. Electric cooling bill is down  2/3rds from last year.  Kinda liking it !!!!!!!!!!

Love this time of year.  If I was back home in Michigan, I'd be getting real excited because the Salmon would start running in about two weeks, and small game season would be opening up around the same time.

Can't wait till next month and November.  Two trips home to go hunting.   :-)

We are going to be flirting with lows in the 30's by us. :o

Back from a week in the mountains.   :bawl:  I could easily have stayed for another month or six, except that I need the paychecks.   :bawl:

Mrs LN gots a new firearm Saturday,  and that means that I get one next.  :thumbs:

Actually tempered out a bit after the rain Saturday and Sunday.  Milder than normal, but not ball-shrinking cold just yet.  Low 50's in the mornings, low-to-mid 70's in the afternoons all week.

And a long weekend coming up!  Yessah!

WAY.  And it's a payday weekend.  And I'm gonna have the yard work done by Saturday (oh, who the hell am I kidding?).  And I still have a whole chicken left to BBQ for beer can chicken this weekend.
