Oh my.
No mention of the Maru Kitteh primitive, who was going to attend this particular town hall to yell-and-scream for free medical care for all.
Nelson: No hurry on health care
KEARNEY - Some waved their hands wildly in the air trying to draw attention, wanting to get their questions answered.
Others applauded and cheered loudly, while some sat calmly and listened.
Sen. Ben Nelson addressed more than 600 mostly calm audience members Monday at the Merryman Performing Arts Center to discuss health care reform.
Nelson is on a statewide tour and stopped in North Platte and Kearney Monday to speak at town hall meetings.
The crowd booed only once, but it wasn't directed toward Nelson. The disappointed groans were directed toward a man who expressed his support of the public option, which would create a government-run health insurance plan.....
Nelson said he will not support any legislation that takes away from Medicare recipients, includes illegal immigrants in its coverage or includes abortion.
