franksolich is going to dry-dock the boat, so as to repair leaks and scrape off barnacles, during the primitive bacchanalia over the death of the senior senator from Massachusetts. 

It is reasonable to expect that for the next several days, Skins's island will be engaged in a wanton orgy of mourning and hypocrisy over one of the most divisive politicians of the past fifty years, who was old news, stale news, ho-hum news, long before this most recent event.

This is not to say franksolich will not use his superduper long-range telescope to keep an eye on the primitives of Skins's island, though; if there happens to be any bonfires of interest--which noticeably excludes those "memorializing" the late senior senator from Massachusetts--or if a PoP says something really stupid about anything, then franksolich will use his superlong lasso to rope in the bonfire and bring it over here for quality-checking of the primitives.

Both sides are being predictable. The DUmp is an orgy of hero worship and some conservatives have on their dancing shoes.
Personally I will not praise him because he is dead but, I'm going to celebrate his death either.

I'm with you, Freeper, that's why I have no comment.  People who are beloved to others pass away every day. 

Frank, I agree with your decision, but keep an eye on the cooking and baking club.  That's pretty funny sometimes.

I am more concerned about whether they are going to change the law to protect their filibuster proof majority than who is going to replace him.

There isn't anything much to celebrate, though I'm not at all unhappy to see the last Kennedy of prominence take a trip to hell.

He was nothing but a drunken windbag, not nearly as bad as his snotty brother Bobby.

I just wish it had been slow, in an air pocket, trapped against the rear window of an Oldsmobile.

I hope that doesn't sound heartless. If anyone actually misses him, they have my sympathy.

OMG, what if they try and put Patrick in there or that woman that they tried to fill Hildabeast's pantsuit with?

Patrick is a House member from Rhode Island, so he wouldn't fit the residency requirements . . . which they might try to bend anyway.  Kirsten Gillibrand is going to have her hands full holding onto her seat if the Dems try to push through Obamacare.

I wasn't sure about Patrick, I've only seen him on the news talking as an enviroweinie, never as a lawmaker. I wasn't thinking about Gillibrand, but about Caroline Kennedy.  She has the name that the DimRats love. And we know simple things like residency requirements don't mean much to Dims.
