When George W. Bush was President, ABC and Charles Gibson, like most media members, couldn't get enough of anti-war protester Cindy Sheehan.
Now that Barack Obama is in the White House, the host of "World News Tonight" is no longer interested in Sheehan, even telling WLS radio in Chicago, "Enough already."
I guess she served her purpose as reported by the Washington Examiner's Byron York Thurday:
In an appearance August 18 on WLS radio in Chicago, ABC News anchor Charles Gibson was asked about anti-war protester Cindy Sheehan's plans to travel to Martha's Vineyard next week, where she will protest the Iraq and Afghanistan wars while President Obama is vacationing there. Gibson, whose newscast and network featured Sheehan when she led anti-war protests outside President Bush's Texas ranch in 2005, answered, "Enough already." ...

And Cindy goes under the bus. To be fair to her she is at least continuing her protest (however misguided it may be) now that a Dem is in the White House.

For a moonbat, she is at least showing some integrity.

Heh. :-)

But it wasn't "enough" when President Bush was in office? :whatever:
I think that she should be covered extensively just to make her look as bat-shit crazy as she is.

When opposition to a war effort which--wittingly or not--serves as the lynchpin of the enemy's strategic concept is based not on principle but political self-service the word is TREASON.

Wasn't Cindy Sheehan suppose to run against Nancy Pelosi? What happened?

If I remember correctly, which I might or might not, she did run, as a third-party candidate, and lost, big-time.

Reminds me of a W.C. Fields line, "Go away kid, you bother me."

In a way, she at least is honest enough about her intent, as opposed to those who pulled her strings. Funny how I haven't seen a single major anti-war demonstration in the last six months. Strange, no?

Noel sums it up rather eloquently, "Yeah, enough already, Cindy. Thanks for helping us get Obama in the White House. Now shut up."

Why couldmn't they have timed this trip while Hurricane Bill was hittng the area at the same time?

As much as I loath the Zero I shudder to think of Biden as the POTUS even more

Definitely agree. One of the things that Dr. Thomas Sowell wrote in a column last week (or so) was that the "Beer Summit" taught us that Joe Biden doesn't drink a lot--can you imagine, seeing what comes out of his mouth when he's sober, what he'd say while drunk?

Why do I get the feeling she won't be allowed anywhere near MV?

Outlines the bias quite well.

I think Bam Bam needs to meat with her ASAP! How else can you prevent the hypocrisy?
Oh, yeah, they don't see it as a threat to their elitism!
