I'm just glad the cartoonists are starting to draw him as a black man.  Sheesh all that 'white wash the hell out of it' stuff was gettin' on my nerves.

Mallard Fillmore is one of my favorites.  I remember a few years back when the strip became a huge issue in an area newspaper.  Liberals were writing in and calling complaining about it.  The paper eventually tried banishing the strip to the editorial page.  I kid you not.  I don't know what happened after that because I stopped reading that paper.
