Title: Obama's VA: Depressed and Disabled Veterans Should Consider Foregoing Medical Ca

According to IsraPundit:

Depression, disability, and "being a financial burden" could constitute "Lebensunwerte Leben" (Life Unworthy of Life) in U.S. Government end of life planning document

Quote
Last year, bureaucrats at the VA's National Center for Ethics in Health Care advocated a 52-page end-of-life planning document, "Your Life, Your Choices." It was first published in 1997 and later promoted as the VA's preferred living will throughout its vast network of hospitals and nursing homes. After the Bush White House took a look at how this document was treating complex health and moral issues, the VA suspended its use. Unfortunately, under President Obama, the VA has now resuscitated

I noticed that a couple of the authors of that are big supporters of euthanasia and assisted suicide. A couple are also bioethicists.  Most that I have read stress death over a lowered quality of life.   :censored: lunatics.

So does the President's health advisor.  Also known as the brother of Rahm Emanuel

The MSM is terrified of stuff like this getting out:

Quote
Savings, he writes, will require changing how doctors think about their patients: Doctors take the Hippocratic Oath too seriously, "as an imperative to do everything for the patient regardless of the cost or effects on others" (Journal of the American Medical Association, June 18, 2008).

Yes, that's what patients want their doctors to do. But Emanuel wants doctors to look beyond the needs of their patients and consider social justice, such as whether the money could be better spent on somebody else.

Many doctors are horrified by this notion; they'll tell you that a doctor's job is to achieve social justice one patient at a time.

Emanuel, however, believes that "communitarianism" should guide decisions on who gets care. He says medical care should be reserved for the non-disabled, not given to those "who are irreversibly prevented from being or becoming participating citizens . . . An obvious example is not guaranteeing health services to patients with dementia" (JAMA, Feb. 27, 2008).

Translation: Don't give much care to a grandmother with Parkinson's or a child with cerebral palsy.

He explicitly defends discrimination against older patients: "Unlike allocation by sex or race, allocation by age is not invidious discrimination; every person lives through different life stages rather than being a single age. Even if 25-year-olds receive priority over 65-year-olds, everyone who is 65 years now was previously 25 years"

Sounds unconstitutional to me, perhaps equal protection under the law comes to mind. :bs:

What's truly sick is that Ezekiel J. Emanuel advocates letting the old and infirm die, many of whom fought in WWII and helped liberate "his people" from Himmler's ovens. There's gratitude for ya.

Yup TX and you sound just like my dad were  he still with us today.

Read an interesting theory some time ago that the Nazis programed their ideas around those that had been discussed in America in the early 1920's .

Talking to a friend who was raised in Germany on an American base and is himself Jewish, was an eye opener.

He claims that if one goes back to the mid 1800" both European and American Jews at that time, the thinkers of the day not the local butcher, the Scholars doctors and scientist were the main proponents of selective breeding.

Austrian, German and other old world country's at that time had their hands full with Mad Scientists, The Freud and Jungs-----Even Mary Shelley got into the act with her most odd for a woman of that day and time book.

Non Jews took to the theory's like a baby to sugar.   They loved everything the European Intelligence was saying and took it at face value--never really questioned any of their work.

Now for the kicker, these ideas were spreading all over Americas, the Expression only the strong survive has been use for mega years.  Darwin helped out allot on that.

Once the tide turned the great thinkers of the day in Europe fled, they knew what way the wind was blowing and saw they had become poster boys of the unfit.-----Their worse night mare came true they were being judged by their own words.

The west coast of our country has all ways been an attraction to the Elite among us.   That was as HE told me it was so easy to place the Japanese in camps----Someone in Oragan tried to have a bill passed to castrate males of Japanese descendant's at birth, Readers Digest, 1950 something.

Before I get the big BOOOO, I believe my friend.    He believes in his faith and still can see how horrid things can get for all people of faith that think they know it all.   It don't matter what you believe, sooner or later some one will come for you to save your soul.

Show you how stupid your family and ancestors were to believe such crap.   Show you can get something for nothing and the Chicks are free in HEAVEN.

Some of these people remind me of Sally Field getting her Oscar.

I did this, you agreed, I think this you agreed, I get standing ovations for just being here. Everyone LOVES me, so to heck with that idiot brother-in- law that said I was not good enough his sis/bro.

Problem is if I continue my studies and find something contradictory to my past ideas, I must set up a defence to ridicule anyone who may in the future find and bring this forward.

Disjointed yes I am not a professional writer, what I send to you comes not just my lazy brain but from others that ------Well, you may be crazy, but in fact some times a lunatic tells the truth.

Everyone in the future that is condemned to die because of Obamacare should strap on a suicide vest and give an Obama supporter a great big hug.

Under the VA's auspices, I might as well go kill myself.....

For crying out loud. There are many disabled people that live a mostly normal life. I'm one of them. That said, if I got some terminal disease that was incurable, there might be a point that I would consider suicide. I watched my mom die a slow and painful death. I wouldn't wish that on most people.

There just are not enough words. If the American Legion and the VFW and all the families of Vets don't call for some kind of action then we have truely lost our soul as a nation.

This is what OamaCare is going to be like for the old and the chronically ill.
