Is this organization known for a political bias in either direction?
I was reading something by them on-line today, and then did a little snooping. They claim to be non-partisan, sponsored by the Annenberg Public Policy Center of the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania.
Any opinions or knowledge one way or the other?
-
Just consider them liberal by default until proven otherwise. Like Snopes.
-
^ yeah that.
-
I know they had a big ruckus with the NRA last year over the NRA's exposing of Obama's anti-Second Amendment Record.
-
Is the Annenberg foundation a part of the same one that funded some crap that 0Bama was involved with in Chicago?
-
yes it was. They were set to move when their "leader" died.
Speeks volumes.

That should put to rest any question about whether FactCheck is partisan or not.
-
In the limited research that I did, there was very little reference to them being partisan to either side.
Naturally, I always assume that they favor the left.

Snopes (With which I have no particular problem) is a VRWC mouthpiece compared to anything the Annenberg Foundation or anything associated with it touches. The Annenbergs were wealthy old libs who plunged the very large family fortune into bankrolling far-left liberal media ventures, including vast amounts into PBS. On a left-right spectrum, they line up roughly with the Deaniac DNC.
