Racist and sexist terms? Within a family? WTF? I could see child abuse if it were a vegetarian pizza. :-)

Oh, it maters not. :-)

They don't mention which part of Gainesville, so I can't guess what kind of pizza it was. If it was a 5 Stars pizza (a local college fave because it's cheap and they deliever fast), well, that crust could cut someone.

I think the case will get tossed. :-)

Dunno, there could be some sort of Domino effect.

Hopefully the family can get pasta their problems and work things out in thyme.

The dad was acting like a tyrant, almost like a Little Caesar.

Her Papa wasn't named John was he?

THIS IS NOT FUNNY
Being charged by a mans daughter of abuse in any form can lead to loss of job ,food, clothing and winter heat to be produced.
Job interview----- you SIR WERE CHARGED WITH ASSULT ON YOUR OWN CHILD.
Police record, just says assult not what with.
Most likely that family and all members including the 3 year old will have to go to Counseling for 3 years.
Outcome will be that a person who is sworn at and makes raciest remarks in turn to the family member will be at fault. The pizza throwing thing is little, it is using words to a family member that gets you arrested.

Actually it is kinda funny. I wonder if he was sauced at the time?
Oh, and kids calling the cops for abuse? If I were the cop and asked for evidence of broken bones, bruises, etc., and saw none...well, you get the idea.

Makes one wonder who the idiot cops were for this arrest.

Kinda agree with Sparky - this thing is funny as hell. And the whole story simply proves how the mushroom affects the complaint process.
The little girl was probably saucy as hell, which led to her being peppered with the crispy crust.
-
Hey, it was just a hand-tossed pizza. :-)

Like I said, there's legit child abuse, for which the parents should be severely punished. But we've gone so far over that raising your voice to your kids in a public place will get you chastized or worse. Worst of all, the kids know that, and play the system for all they can get in many cases.
I wasn't a perfect kid, but I knew better than to get into trouble with the cops, etc., because no matter how bad I got it from someone else, from Dad, it was gonna be WORSE, guaranteed.

They've pretty much taken judgement and common sense out of the officers hands. Many state laws now require their police to cart someone off if called to a domestic. No exceptions! To do this someone's going to get charged with something in order to incarcerate the individual.
