Title: Damn, (Stafford)

Seems to be fitting in well in the NFL. Sumbitch has an arm, I'll give him that.

I saw him play 2 years ago against Miss. State in Athens.  Not one of his better outings, but it was one of those games where State actually sorta showed up and made it close.  But you could tell even then that he had an arm and good presence in the pocket.

It might be best if he backed up Culpepper for a few games and learn the system better.  He will get a chance to start because its just a matter of time before Culpepper gets hurt.

I agree with that.

Watching Stafford, well, sadly now I know why they don't consider Tebow an NFL-caliber QB.

Stafford will start week one. Culpepper cut his toe and had to get 10 stitches.

Detroit loses their first regular season game (my beloved Saints), but wins their second regular season game....the first since '07.

Sorry, even though I DO BELIEVE Stafford is for real, Brees is just too damned good. Stafford will be that one day and, I do believe, a lot more.
