There are many on the socialist side of the political spectrum who believe that government owns you and your body as well as your labor and the products of your labor. This is the extreme viewpoint that government is the 'God' on Earth much as they would deny it with a stupid smirk on their face. One of the ideas they have propounded is mandatory National Service. The idea that being allowed to live through birth and then surviving through schools means you OWE the government years and years of your life. Its called servitude, a nicer word for enslavement.
In recent months our own government has declared war against us, the people. The President has appointed some of the most radical people in the country to positions of real power but without accountability. Czars serve at the pleasure of the President, they are not accountable to our elected representatives in Congress and they do not answer to us. They don't seem to work for the government but for the President himself, even though they have real powers. These extreme Czars pasts show that they are likely to use this unaccountable power to remake America in their image.
The President has also called for a Civilian Defense Force that is as "well funded as the real Army". But this Force would not occupy Iraq but America. Imagine if every community could be put under the thumb of the President of the United States. Imagine this Civilian Force is headed by a Czar and operated as the enforcement arm of the far leftist movement. The idea is analogous with the brownshirts of the German NAZI-era for good reason. We have seen with the far left that literally everything, everything is about politics, is about gaining more power.
Well I believe the time has come for our own National Service, one that will step up for this country and our liberties. We need to organize a national movement made up of local organizations in every community that can extract real political strength. Imagine if several million Americans were to offer even a single day per month to this organization! Imagine if several million Americans even gave a ten-spot per month to fund our own "public broadcasting" services. We could fight back on every subject instead of just one topic at a time. I think the time has come.
I have nothing but awe and respect at those who have turned out at the Town Hall meetings to air their voices as I had nothing but respect for those who came together for the TEA (Taxed Enough Already) rallies. But this movement must be and do more than give headaches to members of Congress and cause media mouthpieces to call us names while they pretend to call for civility.
It is time for the Counter-Revolution to begin. The best defense is a real offense

There is no leader. We each have to organize locally, those we know and family and friends before expanding into our neighborhoods and towns. We can not allow the movement to be co-opted by the GOP

Google "Leaderless resistance." Interesting stuff on state of the art military thought on insurgent warfare from the late Cold War era, it found some currency in the militia movement back in the Clinton era (They weren't all stupid dweebs).

See, that's your problem right there... your objective for your raid doesn't exist, because even if there were any physically attractive DUmp chicks, their ugly personalities would turn any right-minded man off of them immediately. You'd figure with a popluation of ~5000 members there would be one hot chick, but that's definitely not the case from what I've seen. I think we have our share and their share, cuz our ladies are hawt!

I think the organization has become a reality with the 9-11 project, tea parties etc. I am a member of two shooting clubs and I can tell you that many, many folks are well prepared. I know not one who wants to go on offense but when the brown shirts or acorn decide to come down the street to do bad things they will be very, very surprised.
Were we to form a militia we would be playing right into the hands of the left. At the same time, should another event occur like Katrina where the government cannot protect us, my guess is things will come together quite quickly. There will be certain areas of the country where the local sheriff will deputize a whole bunch of folks in a hurry.
Heard a lady call in on Rush and she was talking about the meeting she recently attended. The conservatives were polite, unaggressive etc. yet the acorn folks were screaming in their faces almost as if they wanted to incite a confrontation. Good news is that it did not work at all. If confrontation is what they want they will have to escalate things further and then the court of public opinion will more than likely be in favor of those who defended themselves. I really suspect that those in acorn who are being paid $10/hour or so will decide that it is not so much fun when folks fight back and they get hurt. Right now I would caution folks to be very discreetly prepared in their own right. We do not need to give the libs and media anything to help them prove their point that we are the radicals.
