Title: Do You Tweet?

I have started an account on Twitter for funny DUmmie posts.  If you have a Twitter account, become a follower.  I'm in the process of adding more followers.  Maybe we'll even get a DUmmie or two. 

I'm fairly new at this Twitter thing but there seems to be some rather entertaining stuff there from some DUmmie-like people.

I have an account for reading others, but I'm not a tweety type myself.  I like to follow some of the showbiz dingbats and weirdos like Elizabeth Taylor.  Poor Elizabeth.  She's never had a thought in her head that wasn't emotion-driven.  You have to feel sorry for her and laugh at the same time.  Logic has no seat at her mental roundtable.

I will be checking it out.

I do not have any social networking account of any sort, be it twitter, facebook, myspace or whatever is coming out a week or two from now.

I signed up for a twitter account, but soon found that I'm just not that interested in the minutiae of other people's lives.  :tongue:

I am on Facebook though.

A week or so ago, when Twitter was shut down by a denial of service attack.  Even though it was temporary, I was relieved to know from that sign, that God's Grace still shines down on us pitiful souls!

Supposedly, that DOS attack was directed at one blogger who used Twitter.  Nothing like using a pile driver to kill a mosquito . . .

We have six followers now.  I have actually found some very good people whom I follow who have links to some interesting blogs. 

We'll see how it goes.

Twitter is vapid, and Myspace is so much fluff and static. Facebook seems to be a decent and useful middle ground. Besides, tweeting sounds like something only limp-wristed democrats should do.
