Facebook - I Refuse
I'm pretty sure I'm the only person on earth who refuses to create a Facebook profile. When will I want to relinquish all my privacy?
I do have to Twitter for work so there's that...
It's a big bonfire, so only the Primitives of Prominence.

16. That's absolutely silly. I've found the benefits far outweigh any privacy risk.
I have reconnected with family and friends I haven't seen for years. You don't have to give ANY information about yourself if you don't want to. And it's not actually public information...it's only available to those in your network of friends, so supposedly they'll know most of this info already anyway. I know a lot of people don't like to Facebook just out of contrariness. It's cool to be a Luddite. I'm not one of those people. I don't fear technology.

Most PoPs are older. The derangement required to stand out from the howling mob of the DUmp usually requires some seasoning. In their earlier days, in the age group where Facebook is so pervasive, PoPs were objects of pity, not the scorn they have since earned.

Me either.....25 years ago next month, me and X split. I ran a business from home so I bought an answering machine. I was taking it out of the box, about to hook it up when I thought to myself, "I don't talk to these damn things why should I expect someone else too." It's still in the box on a shelf in the closet. Wonder what an antique answering machine is worth now?.... :rotf:
